Probably my first bad experience, but then I have avoided such duplicates
in my higher experience years of FM. ;-)

The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I limped along using print
to .ps. I think what finally fixed it was a Adobe Update session. Trigger an
update for all your Adobe programs and see if that doesn't fix it. If you
can't, have your administrator do it.

Download the Acrobat update, right-click the file, and select Run As
Administrator.
If FrameMaker still won't save to PDF, reinstall FrameMaker.
If it still won't save as PDF, re-run the Acrobat update as admin.
