You could save the template(s) as MIF and search for the offending font. It's probably on some Reference page or tucked on a Master Page or some-such. Change the missing font name to the name of an available font (or just use the MIF to investigate where it's occurring, and use FrameMaker on its FM

FM 9 used to crash on me whenever I had Frame on my second monitor and used

I, too, have experienced regular, random (unstructured) FrameMaker 10 crashes
on Windows XP. In fact last week, as I was hurrying to meet a last-minute
request for a documentation update, FM10 crashed every time I tried to generate
the TOC, LOF, and LOT. I tried everything I could think of and s
I second the idea of making sure you send the crash logs to Adobe. I use
FM10 and FM11 and, while both are not crash free, I don't run into crashes
that often.

My department uses FrameMaker 11, unstructured, and RoboHelp 10.
We do user's manuals in FrameMaker (one version for the US and one version for

Easy as pie - use conditional text in your FM docs for the US/UK parts - use RH

This works fine in the original book.
When I create a new book and new fm documents in that book, the chapter numbers
don't update.
Why could this be?

Hi Terri,
Here is an idea/steps how you can achieve this--
Firstly, if there is a scope for content within Framemaker to be updated at
various stages, go for Link option for bringing in book/documents from
Framemaker (for Both UK & US English) to RoboHelp. *(File-- Link--
Framemaker documents)*
