Hi All,
I often have a large number of .fm files open and maximized while
working on a book and it would be helpful occasionally to be able to
minimize all of them within the Framemaker window (in order to tile just
a couple files). Is there a keyboard command that can do this?

I am seeking assistance in the conversion of several Framemaker books,
varying from 150 to 500 pages in length (with many graphics, tables), to
reasonably cosmetic versions in Word. Please contact me directly if you
personally do contract work of this type.

you can also try (as a quick fix) using Find/Change for "Any text inset"
in the document, double-click in the inset, and then click the "Update
now" button. Sometimes the problem goes away permanently (Frame quirk?)

We use Visio and import the charts into FM 6 as a linked objects. The
process seems stable, retains vector format, and avoids any conversion
issues.

Here is a followup: The FM pages with pdf graphics (from SolidWorks)
will remain in correct portrait orientation after printing to .ps and
distilled to pdf IF they are rotated ccw 89.999 degrees; however, if
they are rotated 90 degrees they will cause the page to rotate cw to
landscape orientation

quite different vintages and configurations. The commonality is the
recent installation of FM 7.2.
Naturally, there are looming deadlines. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

In FM 7.2 I backsaved one troublesome doc to FM 6. On one computer, FM
7.2 was removed and FM 6 was installed. The backsaved doc was opened in
FM 6 and printed to Adobe PDF (Acrobat 7.2 pro). The .ps file was
distilled and looks OK: all the text in the pdf drawings remains. So, it
looks l
