Cannot import a .jpg

Hi, all. I am using FrameMaker 7.1 on Windows XP SP3. I've just received many zipped .jpgs from someone else; FrameMaker gives me this error message when I try to import one: The filter encountered an error and could not complete the translation. They are displayed with no problem in Windows

I've run into this a couple times when an application didn't create the .jpg as the import filter expected it... Try opening and SaveAs a new file name in Photoshop, or SnagIt Editor, or another editor that you have on hand to see if a different editor makes a difference. Art Art Campbell

Woohoo! Thanks, all -- I downloaded an evaluation copy of SnagIt, opened and saved the file in the same format, and this time FrameMaker imported it with no problem. I suppose any graphics tool might do; SnagIt just happened to be easy. --Nancy ___
