Just click on a few until you find one that goes to the right spot. Typically there's one for each hading. Make the Acrobat window smaller and set zoom to Actual Size so you can tell exactly where on the page each destination is. On Thu, May 12, 2016 at 10:42 AM,

I beat the process to hell and it seems to be stable. I use the "Go To URL" command and use absolute URLs to the PDF, then append #page=[page number] I've never used "Jump to Named Destination". How do I implement that to point to a destination page in a PDF that I cannot make changes to? John X

Use named destinations rather than page numbers, which can change if the PDF is updated. The MadCap developers didn't get that one right until version 8, and I'm pretty sure they only got it right then because I rephrased the issue half a dozen times until they finally understood it. I'm not
