Don't I remember reading on this group that PC FrameMaker doesn't *do* CMYK?

I am not quite sure what your problem is. If it is only imported
graphics you are having problem with, you should, if they are
originally CMYK, save them as EPS (e.g. Photoshop images) and import
the eps's into Frame. Only remember to save them with TIFF preview.

If it is everything, also your lines graphics mad within FM etc, I
would check what your default printer is. It should be PDFMaker
(Distiller). I have had no problems printing to my CMYK printer this
way, either directly from FM 7.0 or 7.2 or by PDF-ing and printing
from Acrobat or Reader.

 Does anyone have any ideas?

RE: Problem generating PDFs for the printer - it always comes out as RGB

2006-02-06 Thread Daniel Osborn
Thank you all for your suggestions.

I've tried to use Colour Chameleon 2.0 and also CMYK PDF Creator, but
both say they cannot find or start Distiller. I have Acrobat 7.0 Pro
installed - I reinstalled it, just to make sure it was all there; I
checked the permissions in the registry and I seem to have the full
read/write permissions that the programs require.

Is there anything else that I might be doing wrong?

Thanks,
Daniel
