order for film for my students was told that they stopped taking orders for
7363 on August 29th. So I guess it's gone!
I'm interested in finding a 16mm stock for photograms that is similarly easy
to expose and
For photograms you might try 7366, which is fine with an LED red safelight
and will develop in Dektol.
You could also try 7302, which will be still less sensitive. However, 7302
will be long pitch so it will not print as well or sharply as a short pitch
intermediate film.
Neither one of these
7302, black and white print stock, works well for photograms, and it's
orthochromatic like 7363. Big minimum quantity, but considering the way
things are going having a big supply laid away is not such a bad idea!
Sound track films are also appropriate -- is Kodak's 7378? Other
companies make

ST-8 is very close to Kodak's 2378, it's pretty fast, polyester, short pitch.

I received my back ordered 7363 last week. Are others receiving their back
orders?
Are others still placing B/Os of 7363?

Hi all,
I spoke to the L.A. Kodak rep yesterday, and 7363 16mm hicon is on back
order, but the current plan is for Kodak to most likely fill any order as
long as it comes in basically NOW.
So if you want any of this stuff
Hi Mark
Are you sure about the 5363? You were right about everything else but
I hadn't heard about 5363. I've got my order in for 7363 but just
wondering if I need to worry about this one too.
Thanks

Hey Lindsay,
It's not on the discontinuation list they sent me earlier this month, but a rep
offhandedly mentioned it, though that may have been an error. I just emailed
them to get the official word.
