Hi,
my name is Edwin, from Jakarta, Indonesia.
recently i have been trying to print 16mm color negative film to black and
white 16mm stocks.
I tried Agfa ST8, and Orwo PF2.
I did some test, with ST8, i put cyan filter kodak cc10c, and ND5.
The results was good.
Then i applied to PF2, the same
the newer 10mm and 26mm kern switars (with aperture presets) cover super16mm -
don't know about the older ones. les bosher makes really nice mounts that can
convert almost anything to the bolex bayonet mount - he made me a pretty nice
one for arri lenses. he does conversions too, though
Hi Jeff,
Thank you so much, for your detail advise.
It seems enough possibilities, for me to learn.
best,
Edwin.

The House of Sweet Magic is a great DVD compilation (as has already been
mentioned) - both in terms of being technically a very high quality transfer
from the 16mm, and being a wonderful selection of films.
the 10 films on the DVD are also available to rent from the Harvard Film
Archive, on
at all if you have no option, editing inside
photoshop with that same colour space, and then saving with Rec. 709 too.

, it cost the equivalent of about $2250, and
it was from 2400' of material with an edl. so although they have minimums, you
should get it done for a lot less! i've always felt like they were quite pricey
(until reading your email), but the quality is very high

Hi Edwin,
There are L'Abominable and LEtna but you

what percentage of a colour/luma space it can handle (eg. that it handles 100%
of ntsc colours). i did a lot of extremely tedious reading before buying one,
and i couldn't find anywhere else that did all that stuff without charging a

and
interlacing. maybe that crappy-ness is what you're specifically after,
otherwise i think cameras like the xl1 might be able to timelapse straight to a
memory card
