Congrats on your initiative. I recommend continuing with your efforts to get
yourself set up if you are interested in 16mm coming to your school
Palliard Bolex is still in operation, so you might consider contacting
them. There is also a publication called the 'Bolex Bible', which is
supposed to have lots of information on the various cameras over the years.
