boot with floppy enabled doesn't.....

On a current -CURRENT if my Floppy disk controller and device are ENABLED, we do NOT pass mount root, and the floppy disk light is ON. If I disable the floppy controller/drive in the BIOS, we boot. This started after April 18. I'm not sure what info to gather. -- Larry Rosenman
