Hello out there,
I got my hands on a Fujitsu Lifebook E751 manufactured 8/2011. The CPU is
a Core i5-2520M, 4GB RAM and QM67 chipset, with an integrated HD3000 graphics.
The display is on this model a Non-Glare HD+ display (1920x1080, I guess).
Neither FreeBSD 11.1-RELENG from USB flash nor 12-CU
l I
switch on) nor
elsewhere.
Configuration hasn't changed.
What the ... is up with the system? How can I dig into the problem?
Thanks for advices in advance,
Oliver

What is this about?
I try now to rebuild world starting with cleanworld. Hope this resolves the
problem.

For a client I tried PkgBase and followed the procedures recommended (first
build the OS from /usr/src/, installworld/kernel, then proceed with pkg update
-r FreeBSD-base and pkg install -g 'FreeBSD-*'.
This doesn't work for any update I try to apply. Since the target host is a two
years old Intel

Well, I guess I do miss something here or is this achievement reached on a
different path
I'm unaware of?

WITH_LLD_BOOTSTRAP
AND with make -j X, X>1,
the build process fails on several CURRENT systems right now with musterious
errors regarding crt1.o missing or not linkable:

I feel confused by the ipfw manpage, while trying to setup a set of filtering

It is a kind of hard based on the ipfw man page to figure out, what the meaning

but I doubt
