On https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.0R/relnotes/ the "Userland Application
Changes" section says:

"The cpuset(8) utility has been moved from /usr/bin to /bin so that it is
always available during startup processing. /usr/bin/cpuset is now a symbolic
link. f05948d4e98d"

the cpuset(8) link goes to
https://man.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=cpuset=8=html

It seems like it should be cpuset(1) and link to
https://man.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=cpuset=1=html

(alternatively the man page tool needs fixing).

In the 13.1 release notes/hardware compatibility list, for the uath driver,
there's a link that seems to be broken: "An up to date list can be found at

customerproducts.atheros.com is NXDOMAIN, and atheros.com redirects to

Hi. Thanks for this and the other PR's.

Just want to note that you can send this and the other diffs with `git
format-patch`, so you will be the commit author.

Or set your full name/email address here in your Bugzilla profile, so we can
use it.

I had to add just a `Reported by: ` line in the other PR.

Sorry for the confusion.  I'm not sure what's happening with the old

Hi there,

What Happened to GeoCities, an internet history in the 90s?
   -

Alternatives to Geocities in this 2019

apparently the pae(4) man page is stale. The last working link is for
FreeBSD 10.0

https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=pae=0=4=FreeBSD+10.0-RELEASE=i386=html

we should fix our documentation.

That link was removed from the official FreeBSD documentation more than
five years ago. Unfortunately, we can't force other peoples' mirrors of
that documentation to be updated.

Thanks for the concern.

Hi,
Theres lots of similar mails at present, I assume theyre harvesting
responder addresses to sell to spammers, or selling checking `services' etc.
Best don't respond to them. Postmasters will block all they have time for.

I haven't really bothered to check, but are you able reproduce the
findings by looking at

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know about a link that seems to be broken on this page
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/network-apache.html.

It is this link https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.6/, but the site doesn’t
seem to be active any more. I thought you might want to update your page.

If you are looking for an alternative then check out
http://wiht.link/django_primer, it may make a suitable replacement.

I hope this helps!

Re: Broken link for clamav-milter-0.99.1 long description

2016-03-23 Thread Igor Roshchin
I assume that the child port also should have a "long description", which
should probably say that it is a wrapper and for what purpose.

Hello,

I am looking at:

https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=clamav=all

This link (from "Long description") is broken:
https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/security/clamav-milter/pkg-descr?revision=HEAD

Thanks for the report, but the link is automatically generated, and seems
to be the result of looking at the page for a "child" port, that is just a
thin wrapper around a main port (clamav, in this case).

I am not sure that it would be feasible to teach the CGI script about this
sort of thing without hardcoding a list of child ports, which is not
really a sustainable solution.

IMO this bug can be closed. Release 8.4 is unmaintained and the link was fixed
in bug #207348 for the current releases.

This is actually an old branch of the documentation. We only maintain the HEAD
branch. However, this link is still broken there, too, so it's all good.

Fixes broken link

On the "Resources for FreeBSD Committers" page
(http://www.freebsd.org/internal/developer.html), the link to the table of
__FreeBSD_version values is broken because the name for that page changed from
"freebsd_versions.html" to "versions.html".

You have a broken link on your site

2015-11-11 Thread debra . peterson

Hey,

Just wanted to let you know about this link which isn’t working -
http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/javascript.html, I found it
on this page -
http://doc.ctrlaltdel.ch/html/ClientReferenceJS13/preface.htm. You’re
link includes this text -
http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/javascript.html, if that
helps you find it.

I wondered if our guide to Javascript would make a suitable replacement
for the broken page - http://wiht.link/javascript-resources?
