I am working on a mailserver that has antispam and antivirus
functionality. I gathered some courage and read articles at O'reilly and

APC Powerchute software does not work for FreeBSD, but apcupsd is a
good alternative:

that apcupsd 3.8.5 (the ported version) does NOT support usb yet
on FreeBSD.
Furthermore, you would have read that usb support is only in experimental

I am trying to find a good disaster recovery procedure.
I dumped all my filesystems to tape.
I booted with the 2nd FreeBSD Live filesystem-CD (4.7), and chose fixit
restore is available
mt is available
but my tape driver is not! When I boot up normally everything works of
course :)
