Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to build evolution (for the sole purpose of using
ximian-connector) and the install is choking on m4-1.4.1.
The following is what I get when I try to install m4 separately:
Chernak# make install
===> Vulnerability check disabled

Hey all,
I'm currently trying to install X.Org onto my FreeBSD 4.10 machine but
am running into trouble. I followed the instructions in
/usr/ports/UPDATING but to no avail.
Basically, I deleted XFree and imake using pkg_deinstall -f XFree\* imake\*
and then I go to /usr/ports/x11/xorg and typ

Yeah, right after I sent that email I read about the image already
being bootable. I supposed I should do my homework before making my
posts:)
Anyways, the image is burnt correctly, so I'm back to where I started
with no idea how to move forward...

After reading that, I think it might be possible that I burnt the
images correctly, but I simply did not make the CD's bootable. I was
using k3b to burn the images, but I might just have a go at it with
Nero. Thanks!

Hey Guys,
The CD's both have valid data structures (i.e. directories, etc...).
I'm positive that I burnt the image correctly, as it's not just an
.ISO file and the checksums check out correctly.
I checked for the options in the BIOD but they're not there. The BIOS

Hey All,
I am havign some trouble installing FreeBSD 4.10 on my PC. I
downloaded an ISO image (and verified the checksum) from the Canadian
FreeBSD FTP site. After burning the image to CD, I checked the
checksums, which were the same.
When I put the CD in the drive and attempt to boot from it,
Hello all,
I was just in the process of compiling something through ssh(i.e. I
ssh'd to my machine at home and ran make install) but during the
compilation, my ssh client crashed. Does that mean that my build was
killed as well?
Thanks

Hello all,
I read this morning on freebsd.kde.org that the 3.1 port had been
released. I cvsupped my ports tree and I still only seem to have up to
3.0.5. I'm using 5.0-RELEASE if that makes any difference. Anyone know
where/how I might get the port or the .tgz?
Thanks
Tyler
