In the future, please don't reply on top, but on the bottom of the original. No problem The default location is /var/crash. Look for files named vmcore.N, where N is a number. Yes there is. What kind of USB chip do you have on the motherboard? Try 'dmesg | grep ^usb' and post the output.

did you try version from ports? Of course it's the the one which is not working actually and which gives me the white window with the grey band. Version downloaded by myself for a test is 2.0.0.68 and has some library missing, so it can't even start. Sebastien
