Well, you're off to a good start with FreeBSD and OpenLDAP. In fact,
you don't really need much more than that. As mentioned else-thread,

Master-master replication is well documented on the openldap website. For

you can use carp(4) or an external loadbal

Hi,

That means all data that's being downloaded to the fedora boxes is actually
being stored in the FreeBSD boxes, transparent to t

are, how can tunning FBSD to upgrade the performance for

NOTE: The two tests on the fbsd was better are floating point

Looking at running a Postfix and some sort of IMAP/POP3 mailserver with
webmail.
Would like to do this within a FreeBSD cluster if such a thing is
possible.
Where can I find out info on FreeBSD clustering options?
Cheers,

Depends on your application / needs. For most application-delivery
situations, I would recommend a layer 4 -> layer 7 "Application Switch /
Load Balancer"; -- HA and Load balancing.
For Beowulf style clustering, check Ports.

Hi all,
Where is the best place to look for information about clustering
Freebsd?
The freebsd-clustering list seems to be abandoned.

Hallo !
I'm sure there is some info on this, but I can't seem to find it.
I guess what I'm looking for is the "FreeBSD Clustering for Dummies"
guide.
I am fairly comfortable with FreeBSD itself, but clustering is still new
to me.
Any simple suggestions are great

Sorry I didn't make this clearer in my last email.
What I'm looking for is something like the Linux Virtual Server project

Virtual server is a highly scalable and highly available server built on a
