Hey
I would like to know whether anyone has any idea on how to set the redial option in
ppp on freebsd to no-redial. I have checked the man page and tried various options.
Setting the redial number to 0, means infinite redials, till it connects. I dont want
that. You cannot set the value to a
copy to me since im not currently subscribed to this list.
Thanks
/Cole

ok. I have tried the module and the kernel method, both to no avail.
When I put "device pcm" and "device sbc" in the config file and
recompile I get nothing. I have tried it with both, and with only the
pcm. There is no pcm device showing up on reboot. Is there something I
am missing? Tha

creating a file server but to allow for video streaming and recording
with the aid of a TV card.
Lots of forums suggest many options to achieve this however to save alot

Hello,
I couldn't find a dedicated FreeBSD/ZFS mailing list, so I hope this is
the right place to ask.
I'd like some advice if I should rely on one of my ZFS pools:
[u...@host ~]$ sudo zpool clear zpool01
...
[u...@host ~]$ sudo zpool scrub zpool01
...
[u...@host ~]$ sudo zpool status -v
Thank you very much for your reply! :-)

I had a similar problem back in 2006 when I was first playing with ZFS.
Jeff Bronwick sent me this. It may (or not) help. I'm not sure if the
number is still the inode. If it is a please let zfs-discuss know.

Hello,
I see an error message every time I boot my AMD64 FreeBSD 7.0 system or
when I restart smartd. These are the dmesg lines that seem relevant to
