Anybody recommend a good/simple tool to load/stress test an apache
webserver ? (or any other webserver for that matter)

We are about to inherit some cobalt raq or qube serves from another
company. Now i dont know anything about except that they run some
flavour of unix. Is it possible to run freebsd on those. Now i know
that by doing that your scrap the fancy webinterface but i dont really
need that anyways :)

I'm using these rules as a template for my firewall config, but i cant
seen to get get FTP working. (users connecting to outside ftp servers
from the local network)
Any ideas how ?

Is there an easy way to automate rsync. Problem is that i have to do
this over ssh. I cannot use host id's (probably becouse of a firewall
between me and the server being rsync'ed.)
How can i provide rsync with the ssh password automaticly when run via
cron ?

each of them to check the logfile. (like tail -f /var/somelog)
Is there a way to log things like /var/log/messages and
/var/log/maillog to one central logging server ?

I have a problem installing from the ports collection. No matter what i
try to install i get an error 1 when it is trying to check if the port
i allready installed. I tried running pkdb -F, but that does not help.
