I was going to chime in on this - but I think all has been said. The above
states it perfectly.

We don't really care what OS you use, but this list is for asking (and
answering) questions about FreeBSD.

It is just plain wrong for questioners to exploit the good nature of
many of the participants here by expecting them to answer questions
about some irrelevant topic. It's not as if there aren't many other
fora where such questions *are* precisely on topic.

Besides which those questions and answers will not be archived
anywhere that people with similar questions in the future would
reasonably expect to find them.

Cheers,

Matthew

Why not just forget about adding routes in the workstations, and add a
route to the "other" network in your default gateway?

couldn't you put those in autoexec.bat, (or a script that you run from
the windows startup directory)?

try adding the commands to c:\autoexec.bat that about as good as you get

Hopefully my fellows don't get bothered if I answer that one:

just add the option '-p' to the route command like

c:\>route -p add 20.30.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 155.123.111.9

Greg,
Is this list really only for FreeBSD users?
What about the "FreeBSD *and* MS" users? ;-)

Ummm, this is a FreeBSD list! Next time, subscribe to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or some similar list.

If you put 'autoexec.bat' in the root directory, the commands
contained within it will execute before going into Windows.

If Windows needs to be running, take a copy of your shortcut to
the batch file and put it in:

C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\

You will know you are in the right directory because there
should be some other programs that run on boot up.

(P. S.: Say hello to the Sultan for me!)

Sorry, this list is for FreeBSD users, not for Microsoft users.
