I think it's a bug in the driver BWN (4), I tried all known variants and
the result is negative ... not connecting. Does anyone else have another
solution?
Thanks.

If you're hitting best possible circumstances? Almost 2x.
Now, where's my IBSS HT bug? :) I can easily debug that stuff now.

There's no reason why aggregation and MCS rates shouldn't work with
IBSS. The only questionable issue right now is encryption and that
requires some st

Ok,
Please reply to the PR with some debugging output.
On both nodes, enable this:
wlandebug -i wlanX +assoc +ht +rate
Then do some pings on either side. Don't do iperf, it'll dump out way
too much debugging (one line per frame.) Just pings and record both
sides is enough.
It'll tell me how th

I think I checked earlier: what about ht/40 on 2.4GHz? How do I enable
it and select the secondary channel?
2GHz is a bit flakier here because there's generally a lot more
interference floating around.
You just choose a primary channel and then say ht:40 . You don't get
to choose upper or lower here - the standard requires you don't have
overlapping 40MHz channels.
(eg ifconfig wlan0 channel 6:ht/40)

Guys,
I think there's a bug in the bwn driver. But since there's no driver
maintainer at the moment, I don't know how/if it's going to get fixed.
The first thing that creeps to mind is "why are the RSSI values the
way they are." Is it just cosmetic, or is the unit actually seeing

Lemme just be really clear - Bernhard and I would really, really love
someone to step up and be the maintainers for the Marvell and Broadcom
drivers.
If you're sufficiently motivated and can start merging in fixes from
