RE: Missing window decoration
Hi, I came back from hospital today and decoration was away again - no after update, just away. > Do they not ever appear? Or do they appear for a while, and then go > away? If you're not seeing the decorations, do this: ps ax | grep xfwm4 If you don't see anything, that's the problem. In a terminal window you should be able to type 'xfwm4 &' and they will come back. If that works, go to the "Session and Startup" wizard and save your session (make sure that there isn't anything running there that you don't want of course). I have no idea why it got lost after the upgrade, but ever since I did the above the problem has gone away. hth, Doug -- This .signature sanitized for your protection ___ freebsd-xfce@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-xfce To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-xfce-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"

In first time, could you disable quicklauncher-plugin and minicmd-plugin. I have deleted user and create it again, so it is working at this moment. But I have .xsession-errors when it has been broken, so here is: /usr/local/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup... FreeBSD is started up by the program 'init'. The first thing init does when starting multiuser mode (ie, starting the computer up for normal use) is to run the shell script /etc/rc. I hope, it's not gdm3. If yes, you must patch x11-themes/gtk-xfce-engine, because it's support only GTK2 theme. Could you test with Xdm. If you want to use it, copy /usr/local/etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc in you $HOME (.xinitrc) and add symlink for ~/.xsession.
