[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #15409] Text Strings not translated in civ script
Follow-up Comment #3, bug #15409 (project freeciv): You should also remember that civ ser scripts are only helper scripts to run freeciv from source directory. They are not installed as part of Freeciv. Translations on the other hand are not usable from source directory - they have to be installed. So the issue of civ script translation arises only when you have installed one instance of Freeciv, but are running another instance from source directory. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15409 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #15410] Freeciv does not compile with --enable-debug=yes
Follow-up Comment #6, bug #15410 (project freeciv): I'd expect more warnings from a newer version, not fewer. Often yes, but sometimes warning situation detection gets more fine grained and warning is no longer outputted for completely safe constructs. I have not checked if it's the case here. Anyway, dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules happens far more with older gcc versions (I notice it often when cross-compiling to windows, MinGW version of gcc is 4.2.1) than newer. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15410 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #15422] Illness popup in client is inaccurate -- doesn't show risk from trade
Update of bug #15422 (project freeciv): Assigned to:None = syntron ___ Follow-up Comment #2: Thanks for looking into the illness configuration! I think the correct patch for S2_2 (2.2.1) will be the deactivation of illness due to trade. I will create this patch and a patch for trunk moving the calculation into the server, save it within the city struct and send it to the clients. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15422 ___ Nachricht geschickt von/durch Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #15430] Wish: Unit flags should be handled similarly to effects.
URL: http://gna.org/bugs/?15430 Summary: Wish: Unit flags should be handled similarly to effects. Project: Freeciv Submitted by: luftzig Submitted on: Saturday 02/20/2010 at 00:49 Category: general Severity: 1 - Wish Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: None Planned Release: ___ Details: Unit flags should be externalized as much as possible, by providing unit effects that act like unit other effects, and have a requirement list. If requirements are met (e.g, unit 1 has flag A is on forest, and unit 2 has flag B) then unit get bonus or can perform certain actions. Will require a way to differentiate between the current unit (and it's tile, city, etc.) and the target unit (and it's tile, adjacent units, cities, nation et cetera). Might require new requirement range. Doing so will greatly help modders. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15430 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
