[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #14097] wish: cities reclaim resources when enemy units are gone
Follow-up Comment #1, bug #14097 (project freeciv): I would suggest enabling the Citizen Governor. It eliminates most cases like this, and warns you immediately otherwise. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?14097 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #14556] gdk_color_to_string() used, but only gtk+ 2.4 required
Follow-up Comment #5, bug #14556 (project freeciv): In trunk we can simply bump the requirement as done with attached patch. After I got same error from build with *latest* cygwin, I consider gtk+ 2.12 too high a requirement even in trunk. However, we should be aware that staying with lower requirement than we actually have any reason to just causes unnecessary maintenance work and less than ideal implementations as we duplicate features of newer requirement libraries in our own code. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?14556 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
Re: [Freeciv-Dev] Towards 2.2
2009/10/20 Pepeto pepet...@gmail.com: Hello men, could we create metatickets for 2.1.10 release and 2.2-beta1 at gna to see how far are we from it? Maybe we could create a ticket in tasks? There certainly is enough bugfixes gone in since 2.1.9 to justify 2.1.10 release as soon as possible. Especially since 2.1.9 still instructs to use old bugtracker and uses temporary metaserver URL. However we also have one serious regression since 2.1.9, which we don't want to have in release ( bug #13465 ) I don't think we need a metaticket that depends on just one other ticket. Also, I'd rather create new metaticket for 2.2 in general, and not separately for beta1. At least that's the way we've done it in previous releases. Note that there is already 2.2 metaticket in RT. Beta1 should be released as soon as editor support for start positions is finished and any critical bugs are fixed. Also, there can be no new mandatory capabilities after beta1 release, so anything requiring such should go in before beta1. - ML ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

Re: [Freeciv-Dev] S2_2 and capstrings
I managed to resolve it somehow after cleaning up old builds and rebuilding the relevant code. It was probably a case of a 2.2 client trying to connect to a 2.1 server.
