Dear Sir,

I just learned about your freeciv game.
Perhaps that you might be interested in making a mod of your game,
focused on economical warfare. By this I mean making a mod that
incorporates both the latest/high-end military equipment (vehicles,
artillery, fighter planes, ...), as well as outdated cheap military
equipment. I think that even outdated/cheap military equipment can
still have a big effect on the battlefield, if used correctly (ie use
of bomber planes in areas without airplane defenses, artillery against
airplane defenses, ground attack aircraft vs tanks, ...)

I was wondering whether perhaps you might make such a mod, or at least
propose the making of such a mod on your website (no need to mention
me). I added a document in which I gave some more info. The mod would
need to take place in the modern age (current year), yet incorporate
equipment of upto 60-70 years ago.

Perhaps that you might even gather sume funding for making the mod
from organisations like demilitarize.org,

Open new usage of priority queues, simply by defining SPECPQ_TAG,
SPECPQ_DATA_TYPE and SPECPQ_PRIORITY_TYPE and including specpq.h.

Requires improved targeting code so the target unit don't change depending on
what code process it. Allowing the player to pick a target unit would be nice
but isn't required. As long as the same target unit is chosen the restriction
can be lifted.

Version 2 of the patch attached:
* better land making;
* better river making;
* added ability to generate huts.
Complete version for S2_5 also attached.

Not targeting this item for the moment. I think it would be a good feature for
the next version of Freeciv we could include this map generator. I think it
could give more interest to on-line games and create more emulation inside the
community.

However, it is maybe to late for including this in 2.5.0. What do you think?

Help for an English native speaker for strings would be appreciated, notably
for the setting help text.

Details:

Many action enablers for supplied rulesets have both requirements UnitFlag
Diplomat and UnitFlag Spy.
Former is redundant. All spies are also diplomats. If that was not the case,
this would be even buggy, preventing some spies from doing spy activities.
I think the redundant Diplomat requirements should be removed to simplify
the requirement list (faster processing, maybe better understood by AI in the
future)

Details:

In classic ruleset (at least) all tech stealing activities require Spy. I
don't think this is intentional rule change.
