FreeDOS+Dosemu+Linux, I have allways used with X
_Would you give it a try_? Just start with a plain Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
32bits (use VirtualBox), it has a dosemu package that works prety well

problems in
FreeDOS, with that FreeDOS will be just the best DOS.
And FreeDOS has the advantage of working very well on almost all new
machines. The only exception is ASUS which a constant source of problems.

This floppy change problem has been around for some time because it is
hard to reproduce. The steps 1 to 5 in problem 2 are all done from a
single running program? If so it may be related to a problem I
encontered a few times.

Lucho's site, a link was posted here. Please send me a link if sending a
file is difficult. BTW I believe that this is not affected by new
patches, sot it could be 2035 too.
