Very nice and big thanks! I am connected with Windows on virtual FreeDOS. :)
If you allow/like I will copy your instructions to the DOS wiki on
drdos.org because I think this deserves to be shared. ;)

Correction: I meant _technical_ limitations. Commercial use is not
allowed and also copying is forbidden.

Shell to dos is nearly the same as TSR?
Nice, but unfortunately it isn't working under VMware. Perhaps I should
switch to Bochs for DOS
try www.netbootdisk.com
if it works, I can help you installing it permnently

According to linuxfromscratch.org you also have to port FriBidi
for bidirectional unicode and libgnomeprintui (GUI dialog for
gnome printing architecture). There are also mentions on osdir
that abiwor

RTL8211B is a 'PHYceiver' (only the electrical stuff);
youre network card is something different (and most likely not a
NE2000 chip, either)

While NE2000 has RTL8029/8039 as popular implementations,
RTL8211B is very unlikely to be NE2000 compatible. You
could try the RTSPKT driver for RTL8139 10/100, maybe it
even works. But I would generally
Hi at all,

Suggestion ,support and traslation are welcome :

The network adapter on my computer is:
Realtek RTL8211B 10/100/1000 Ethernet
There doesn't seem to be any DOS packet drivers available. The links
below look like a way around, but which of NE2000 drivers listed is
the best:
- ne2000.zip
- NovellAnthemNE2000.zip
- ne2000driveranddiagn...isk.zip

Addition: Of course there may be a lot more solutions than MS Client.
Here's some fantasy:
- Install a third VM with GNU/Linux
- Install MarsNwe on GNU/Linux like Mutant Mut has thankfully reported
it a few threads up here ("netware + freedos").

Hi Michael,
I can't remember if there is a ftp-tool to do this. Please browse the
links to TCP/IP applications at:
http://lazybrowndog.net/freedos/index.html#applicatio
Maybe you find something there. I used EZ-NOS2 as DOS ftp-server for
some time. But it won't run as DOS TSR.
