I'm confused, Eric. My version of Edit is labeled 0.7d. I have been using it for awhile now and I like it a lot, with the calendar and the ascii table. It seems to be stable, too. What do you consider your best version to be at this point? The way the program is now, it makes the most of a spare interface, which is good. I could see adding a calculator. Are you going to use calc387 for that? Eric, could you explain to me the reason Edit 0.7 works on my 8088 and the version included w/ distro doesn't? I am trying to get TED to work also, since i have the source for it i can modify it run also? TED is perfect, it's the one i use on my 286 because it's small and very fast, all others are too slow on machines below 386. In case you forgot, what happens with TED right now is the screen displays, then characters start repeating across the top just as one of the keys were being held down.
