All,
I am currently working with openLDAP and freeRADIUS.
I have correctly set up freeRADIUS to read from my openLDAP. I can't
seem to authenticate my user. I have narrowed down the error to a single
line, "rlm_eap_mschapv2: Invalid response type 4". From my hours of

Hi all,
I was using freeradius version 1.1.1 for a long time on a Scientific
Linux v. 5.1 OS and it works fine.
Now I am trying to update to the new version 2.0.5.
I've converted all the necessary config files (in the /etc/raddb/

In SQL schemas, accsessionid as VARCHAR(32) is too short, some NAS (e.g.
Juniper ERX) send to RADIUS long Acct-Session-Id (up to 48 chars). I
manually set it to VARCHAR(64) and now it seems to work correctly.

The following article about Bill Gates trying to install software has

If you are using just SQL you don't need a new attribute. You should
make a group for cancelled/suspended users that has Auth-Type Reject
forced and add/switch users to it.
If you are using users file as well you can use this new attribute:
DEFAULT Calcelled == "yes", Auth-Type := Reject

Because it is reading the sites-enabled directory. "Available" and
"enabled" have specific meanings

You can do that, but you'll have to write your own scripts to
