Thanks everyone. Alan, it all came down to the Freeradius proxy statement in the users file. Once I did that everything worked fine. I am now able to authenticate to OpenLDAP from the built in OSX client and the secureW2 client for Windows. **users DEFAULT Huntgroup-Na

If you are still failing, I would suggest you send the list a copy of your radiusd.conf file and the output of radiusd -X when it fails. The debug messages when it does fail, should be able to tell you why it is failing. Without the debug info, we can only guess. -Dusty Doris On Thu, 16 Dec 2004
