I have freevo 1.70 running on Ubuntu. I can not get a DVD to play with
either mplayer, or xine thru freevo. Both apps work fine outside of
freevo. The problem is, when the DVD is inserted it lists all the
videoTS.vob files. I won't just play the dvd. Does anyone have any

You can use NFS, the most traditional (and easy to setup, few drawbacks
though)...
But I vote for AFS (Andrew FS) or CodaFS, as they can use local cache
and stuff.

I have some problems with the runtime mplayer provided in the 1.3.2-pre4 package

Anytime I want to read a sound file, freevo is stuck at this step:
