2007. Since it was our first attempt we limited it to 300 customers, but

each page contained a graphic that was personalized in Fusion Pro.

I installed 4.2 yesterday and have uninstalled and reinstalled it today
and I am getting the same problem.
I am trying to add a simple hide phone label rule to a BC template.
When I create a new rule the Rule editor and building blocks windows pop
up, but they are behind the Input Options
I have this same problem. I have found that it only happens when you try
to add rules in the import wizard. If you skip making rules at this
point and then add them later this dialog box layering problem doesn't
happen. Needs to be fixed though.
I am also having a problem in the rules editor,
I have set up a rule for a business card that if a certain color bar
graphic is chosen, then the Name and Email return the same color text.
I have set up text resources with the colors, and the rule calls out to
those resources. In Acrobat it looks great and everything validates. As

Is your graphic(s) in the same file as the template? If not then
FusionPro can't find it. You'll need to add the path to that folder in
the rule, or set it globally in the Search Path feature in the
CompositionAdvanced tab.
Try this...
return CreateResource(\\pathHere\\ + Field(LastName) +
I am tring to get a rule to work that returns a string and variable based
off another image field. It will preview fine in acrobat but when I upload
all I see is the rule name, not the info I want. Any suggestions?
Heres my js:

Yes, we have confirmed this problem. We will have a resolution soon.
Meanwhile, open the Rule editor in any way other than the from the
Input Options dialog on the Mac. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Shane,
Do you have all of your resources uploaded to your Print1? And you can see

If you're using named resources from the Resources dialog, then you want
to use the Resource function, not CreateResource.
There are basically two ways to bring external resources into your
composition: with named resources, and with the CreateResource function.
If you're using a named resource,
Thank you so much for the help.
Adding the path to the folder allows me to validate the rule successfully.
BUT...
My images still will not show up. I even deleted and added them all over

David I think you get the prize on this one. I went through everything
one more time and it worked for some reason or another(with the path added
to the rule). I had to be missing something small somewhere.
Thanks for your help!
Dan, also thanks to you for explaining how things
In indesign I have the piece built and the text is all set, I then select

Hi, Larry
The pst-30.dos file can indeed be shared across HP PPML jobs. Place
this file in the DFE (images folder) one time and it's used across all
FusionPro HP PPML jobs (the file never changes from job to job).
The only case you would need to put this file back in the Images folder
is in
Okay, just read through your original email again. My new question for you is,
are the colors that you use to make the text colored listed in the Colors tab
in the Print1? Just as a side note, the formatted text resources are included
in the def file and there's nothing else you should have to
