Go to OldApps.com/mac and you should find what you're looking for as well
as a bunch more useful apps for the older Macs.

Also something you need to take into consideration is that the G5
architecture requires you to increase you RAM modules in pairs. Meaning, if
the DIMM 1 Slot 1 (front slot) has a 2GB stick in it then the DIMM 2 Slot 2
(back slot) must also have a 2GB stick in it or the system might
The only thing I can think of is your system memory might need to be
reseated or a stick or two (doubtfully all but that is a possibility as
well) has become corrupted and needs to be replaced. I know if you go to
apple.com/support and search 3 flashed and beeps along with your Power Macs
Also make sure it is not a malfunction cause by a faulty lid switch or bad PRAM
battery buy disconnecting the power and pulling the battery out for 10 to 30
seconds and press the caps-lock button to make sure the LED is off and it is
completely powered down. Then try booting it up again.

I'm sure this question was pretty much answered already but I just
wanted to add another option which is what I did for this old
PowerBook G3 Wall-street I'm still banging on.
I got the universal WIFI adapter by IOGear. (model number GWU627) for
less than $25 on sale at newegg.com.

or real photo editing. It also depends on what type of gaming you're
looking to do. Any flash based games online would need that much as

This is a bit of a workaround but this might work... If you have a USB
hard drive enclosure install the newer 320GB into it and format it
using the Mac OS extended (journaled) setting. With the original hard
drive still in the G4 clone the contents of that hard drive onto the
new one in the USB
I'm sure you'll get a bunch of responses with this one but first
search and download 'Macams' as it will allow you to run a multitude
of different USB powered webcams.
Second I would like to recommend a webcam by Rocketfish, model number
RF-HDWEB. I prefer this one because it is capable of
I have a few PPC Macs that I still use everyday because I can't afford
to get any newer Apple computers. My worry is, my best PowerMac G5
with dual 2GHz processors and 7GB of RAM is having trouble running
Flash 10 smoothly using my Firefox and Safari browsers, yet I found it
runs much smoother on
