Out of curiosity, what do you intend to use the USB 1.1 ports for?

G4 has both 10.4 and 9.2 on one hd and has worked just fine for 6 months, BUT

need to do a clean and reinstall... I had this once on one of my clamshells and
that was the only way I got rid of it... I think this might have something to
do with a problem in OS 9, but not
