Hmmm... I have a similar machine, DP1GHZ also with 4 hard drives and 2
optical drives. I don't let the hard drives sleep. I've never had an issue,
but if i were you i'de check with the disk utility right away and verify
each drive to see if leopard sees a problem, it could be a hd failing...
