The more modern the (Apple) keyboard, the harder it is to strip it down to
clean it. If you have a glued together one, they want you to buy a new one
and be more careful in future! That solution will certainly work. But in
the real world, we grudge paying £50 or so for a keyboard. There are

Well tonight I decided to reinstall Tiger on the drive that the G5

I've had similar issues before, with both software and hardware

Well I tried resetting PRAM, and no difference.
(I can't find the reset button on my motherboard to do the PMU: I
have the take-apart guide stored on another Mac so I'll look at that
later).
I've also done open firmware reset(does this reset the PMU?)

When I got my dual 1.2GHz MDD a few months ago, I found it had two

Hi Jeff Daile.
What have you got the Skype volume control set at? If it was set very

hear Skype calls. I normally have my Skype volume control about
halfway, and system volume about 3/4 and this works.

from the Time Machine drive. Absolutely no problem at all,

original 60 GB hard drive.

Unfortunately the eMac it came with was a 1GHz or earlier (SW version

offered me a restart.
So no further on.
