CS3 runs under 10.4.11, which is a bit faster and a lot less problematic on your Mac than Leopard, so I don’t see any reason for you to move to 10.5. I agree with the general public here. My G4 Digital Audio 466, with 1.25 gb RAM now, runs smoothly on 10.4.11, but I wouldn’t want it to get any slower. The speed curve on PPCs went up until Tiger, but after that it went down again, meaning that Tiger is faster than Panther, but Leopard is slower

I've got a G4 iBook running 10.5 Server, and it runs OK. The thing is, my G4 is a 1.42GHz, which is a bit heftier than yours. My suggestion is this: if you have the ability to try both, try 10.5 first and see how it runs. If it doesn't work out, you can fall back on 10.4, which is a great OS in my
