There's actually no difference between the deathblade and the longsword accept their special attacks are described differently (do the same damage as far as I can tell,) and the alignment changes. One makes you demonic, the other makes you saintly. I'm sure its obvious which does which, *grin*.

They're definitely worth having. All four of my characters have them. The quick combat, full healing and EXP bonus are all quite nice, and if you complete Shattered Skull you can gain the ability to save twenties you rolled during combat to use later. Granted you can only have three but it's
