[Audyssey] Jim's Monopoly question

2008-12-13 Thread ari
Hi I know this has probably been asked before, but I don't know in what post. My question is, why can't monopoly be made so that you can have a computer player even if you don't choose a one-player game, or even, why can't you choose for the fun to have multiple computer oponents, example, a

[Audyssey] Neospeech Kate?

Hi all, I want to use Neospeech Kate for my SAPPI 5 games voice, does she work well? My other problem is that, for some weird reason, I can't find her anywhere at all! I thought I could get it from nextup.com, but for some reason, she's not there anymore! Does anyone else know from where else

i must admit, probably out of all Jim's games, monopoly is the one I'd most like to see multiple computer opponents in, exactly for that reason. Game of life is quite playable on your own, sinse reading the square text and seeing what fortunes or misfortunes happen in the game is quite fun in

Hi Ari, Kate works ok. Although, these days I tend to use the Scansoft Real Speak voices that comes with Jaws 8 and later more. I've noticed Kate and Paul use more system resources than the Scansoft voices do, and Paul in particular has some lexical issues with words it doesn't know. Cheers.

Really? That's strage. But Kate works well with games. I was just at Nextup.com and i could have sworn I saw the Neospeech voices. Peronally I think there ought to be more of them. - Original Message - From: ari aridamoula...@gmail.com To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org

Hi Ron, I definitely agree with you about Puppy1, Blast Chamber, Troopanum and Hunter, as I have all of those here. I haven't tried 3D Velocity, but from the sounds of it, it might be similar to the Top Gun table in ESP Pinball Xtreme. David - Original Message - From: The Kolesar

Hi Pranav, from Ron and Boz. I too enjoy Jim's puppy one and wish that there were more accessable fly sims. But the only other project that I know of at this time is at www.bpcprograms.com Check out the demo of TDV which is short for Three D Velocity. It is a cross between iron eagles and top

Hi Dark, I gave up on my scripting for the game, even with scripts, I saw it was going to be too cumbersome for the casual gamer unless major accomodations were made for the blind. I may see where the game is when I get done with my own current projects, and pick it up from there. Later,

Hi Ron, I have been playing 3D velocity. So far, I have not been able to win any races. I wonder what I'm doing wrong. I have also tried to fire at that bogey aircraft but have not been able to catch it. Half the time, I have it on my tail so, logically, I should be the one who is winning.

Hi, I know there has been some fairly extensive discussion on the topic of access to Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2002. That has a lot of detail--more than you probably want. It is not combat-oriented, nor is it perfectly accessible. Nevertheless I've played it off and on and I'm sure
