Hi,
Alright. Although, I have noticed of late my attack rolls are completely
unpredictable. I might roll 17, then a 1, and then a 10, and then 4,
etc. it drives me crazy. Although, the same holds true for a pen and
paper game so I don't know why it should matter to me so much, but it does.
Hi Bryan,
Yeah, I see. I just encountered my first magic resistant creature last
night. I was playing the bat cave adventure, and when I tried to toss
lightning at the silver bat creatures they bounced them off like they
didn't exist. The crimson bat creatures were the same. I got pretty far
Hi,
I don't think your luck has to do anything with attack rolls. I do
know it does effect your rolls for playing cards, picking a number to
avoid something, archery, etc. Sounds like a question for Bryan who
seams to be the closest thing to a Sryth Guru we got on list.

Hi Bryan,
Same here. I went to the Graldok Bazaarr just to check it out and as
soon as I came out of the Bizaar hoping to travel somewhere else Illiok
and his boys started their crap with me. Needless to say it was his last
act. I blew him away with my Elementalism powers which went from 45 to

Hi,
Interesting. I didn't know that, but I'll keep that in mind for the
future. In any case at that level of mastery advancing Elementalism
takes a lot of experience points. At the moment i am doing fairly well
with level 50 against the basic enemies in the game.

boosts and a special attack.

Hi Chris,
I think you are confusing magical items with magical powers. You
certainly want to keep any magical items you get as they are more
powerful than standard items. Also some adventures such as the Secret of
Stoneback Hill requires you to be equipped with a magical weapon in

: [Audyssey] change in sryth
Well actually Thomas they're not completely resistant to magical powers,
which seems to be the impression we've given you. Sometimes if you keep on
using the same power for several rounds you might be able to land a hit
and
inflict some damage, but more often than

Hi Bryan,
Well, right now elementalism is at level 50 which is probably where I
will keep it for the time being. I just dumped most of my 1500 points
from the Daggerspire adventure into weapons and slashing and Catherine
is well on her way to being a expert swordsman. In fact, both are level
Hi,
Yeah, restoration definitely is extremely handy. Ever since joining the
Grey Circle I have been working on Catherine's restoration powers to try
and get them up to the level of her elementalism skills. It really comes
in handy in those cases were you get the crap beat out of you and then
is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so.

Hi there:
So with magical items being less powerful, should I keep using the special
sword I got from the cottage, or should I just stick with nonmagical items?
thanks
