I thought of something.
Maybe for people who don't want the female umpire you could put up a
baseball sound pack which will install alternative sounds in the game. If

Hi Josh,
I do very much appreciate all of your complements of my games, but, most of my
games you can not replace the sound files. Partially it is because I work hard
to find, record and edit the sounds and consider them my creation. You know

Hi Blind Guy,
I have purposely made my games so that you can not change or mod the sound
files. One reason was because games like Mach 1 and Pong were totally sound
based, so if you changed all of the sound files, well then it was no longer the
game that I created at all. One gentleman had

I understand the need to change things around, but also what everyone
should understand is that Jim has put a lot of work in making the games
they way they are. Also, keep in mind that he did not have to do this in
the first place since the games are free. It seems that people can't

Well Raul.
That's a sure way to put it, when it comes down to it really. Never
thought about it that way.
But the games are fun and awesome, and I just like to play them all the time.

No! I said that I was not going to change out my very good friend Kathy as the
umpire.

I'm beginning to understand this now. maybe for the baseball and football
games could we change the umpire sound files and in the football game change

Hi Blind Guy,
Yeah commercials are that way. (annoying) grin
But yes you can change the new baseco1.wav through baseco13.wav files. And yes
they are now all interruptible. Just press a key like the space bar.

I'd love to, but my favorite commercial is on TV.

Hi Josh,
Yes, but what Jim is saying in his own way is that in his opinion when
yu change the sounds in his games it is like the game is no longer his
game. He feels as if you are creating a different game by replacing the
sounds.
I don't feel that way, yu don't feel that way, but Jim does
Hi Shaun,
I am sorry, but I would not be able to put out games such as baseball with all
real human speech. I did human speech for pong because it had so little speech
needed for the game. But for games like baseball football etc etc it would
just be too much work, size etc to have that many

Hi Josh,
Thank you for the offer, but too late for version 3. Truthfully I like the
sounds that I have for the game. And yes my very good friend Kathy Battiato is
still the umpire.

Hi Josh,
I have done some work on the sound files for version 3 of baseball. Like Sly
sent me a whole bunch of commercials and I have added some of them to the game.
But no I did not think to rent a play station and baseball game and have
someone play it while I recorded it like I did for
Hi Josh,
I've just about got baseball version 3 ready to go. After that I have some
ideas, but am not sure yet. I hope to work on a brand new, live action type
game. You know along the lines of Mach 1 or Pong as compared to a turn based
board type game, but it will be a text to speech game.
