Re: [Audyssey] scary sound in monopoly

2006-10-24 Thread Jim Kitchen
Hi Dave,

Thank you very much for saying that you like my Monopoly game. I do appreciate
hearing it.

I am not sure about making the speech of the computer player's turn
interruptible. I know that some times it takes a while like if the computer is
buying houses or has to mortgage allot etc, but I think that it is important to
hear what the computer does on it's turn. I could fairly easily have a toggle
to turn off all sounds though. I will think about them both, but was hoping
that version 7 was the last version.

Hi Phil,

Hmm, when you ran winpoly7.exe it should have unzipped the monopoly11.wav file
into the kitchensinc folder. The game does say Monopoly version 7 By Jim
Kitchen when you run it right?

I can not imagine how you or your opponent could have gotten two hotels on
Boardwalk. Can you tell me please how you did it.

Thanks

Hi,

Chris wrote:

What changes have been made to Montezuma's Revenge?

Well, most of the changes being worked on at this moment are technical
changes within the game core itself. I am rewriting the object collision
detection which was seriously flawed in the previous release, resizing
the temples to a 50 by 50 grid as was the original Alchemy game, taking
Angela out and adding in the original character as was popular request,
updating it to .NET Framework 2, and the latest DirectX.
In addition to all of that, I am trying to track down the strange
scoring bug which loses track of scores above 10 points.

Re: [Audyssey] Net FrameWork 2.0 download needed!

2006-10-24 Thread Thomas Ward
Gary, I don't think anyone is going to be able to email you the .NET
Framework for two important reasons. One it is a self-extracting file
which means it has a *.exe extention which will likely be blocked by
some server or PC software along the way. Second, and most importantly,
the runtime is about 40 MB.
If you are not in a huge hurry I can post it on my sight in the next
month or so.

[Audyssey] STFC was self distruct

2006-10-24 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi,

Chris wrote:

Secondly, is that Star Trek game now totally different than the original
STFC?

Well, there are actually two different Star Trek projects under way, but
STFC is still technically active. I am or was doing some testing to try
and find the latest and most stable copy of STFC, and will be releasing
it as freeware when I find the time to do so. Not only that I will have
to rewrite my installer for .NET 2.0 which the later builds of STFC now use.
As for the other Trek project it is completely different from STFC as
can be. However, very little work has been done it. Obviously, the new
Trek project is a very low priority on the list.
Cheers.

No, I was behind my email today and posted that before I saw your link you
give me.

The software that I need the framework stills has some days on it and the
direct link should be ok before my evaluation runs out.

The software is to help me to create databases on the fly. I am hoping it
will be what I am looking for to create databases for my voice forums from

[Audyssey] Getting it right

2006-10-24 Thread Gary Whittington
Hi, Playball.ws got it right.

With some concern about the Strat-o-Matic Instructional Juke and the
problems some were having problems. I created the jukebox so, that visitors
could either run or download the audios.

Many slower connected computers could not handle either running the audio
on there default media player like winamp or a real long time to down load
was a problem as well.

The revamped jukebox now allow you to listen to the instructional audio
clips right off the net with an accessible flash player. Not like many
flash players on the web where the buttons are not labeled the
Strat-o-Matic Instructional Jukebox does. Besides able to read the Play and
Pause buttons you can also move (Forward) and a (Review) button is readable.

Big Smiles, in fact this Jukebox will become my norm for my other Jukeboxes.

Lastly, in the Instructional Jukebox you can pick up the latest Startup kit
for the Strat Computer Game with my Jaws configs.
