[Audyssey] sound rts server start

Hi. 

as I have a stable connection I thought I'd try launching a server for sound 
rts. unsurprisingly it's under the name d a r k. I'll leave it running while I 
go and do things as much as I can this morning. If people have trouble 
connecting to it, please let me know. 

also, someone calling themselves Lw started a server, which I found I couldn't 
connect to. If that's anybody here, I thought they ought to know. 

Come and have fun on my server! 

Good grief being out of uni is nice!

[Audyssey] Server gone, was: sound rts server start

okay che, thanks for letting me know, I've taken the server down.

I would indeed fancy a game online at some point, - though I suspect 
that with all the practice you've had, I'll get my bottom well and truly 
pounded!

 I have a few domestic type things to do this morning (it's currently 
morning overhere), but when I'm finishedI'll let you know.

 I do really like the way that Sound rts detects servers. Even though lords 
of the galaxy would run without any trouble through my uni connection, I 
never got any good online games going of that. similarly, after sinse moving 
out of Uni I've connected to Galaxy ranger several times, and not found 
anyone playing.

I think the reason why some people can't connect to the servers is because 
the server.exe is still running even though you've ended the game. If this 
is not true, please correct me.

[Audyssey] something very weird in the sarah game that doesn't occur in the hp books at all

Hi
It seems to me like there is a slight bit of discrimination here. It seems
to me like all Americans can understand lattin, phil should keep in mind if
he sell the sarah game to people of other countries, there shouldn't be this
weird lattin voice in the game.
Phil, I have  read the  piece in the hp books carefully, there is nothing
such as a lattin speaking door in the hp books. The last room in the chamber
of puzzles is the room where professor quarell and lord voldemort tries to
kill harry  and then harry awakes in the hospital and then harry and ron
later on visits him for 5 minutes in the hospital, so that door with the
lattin voice is totally out of the hp books.
If I press x the door says something else in lattin. Sheesh, this is
discrimination.  I'm a south African, I'm not American, I don't understand
lattin, please keep that in mind.
I have tried every single way of unlocking that lattin door, I 've tried all
the spells, all the passwords, pressing enter,  , using some of my items,
eating sweets, nothing happens. Its ok if the lattin names of spells are
spoken, for that there is English descriptions, but that lattin door is a
headache. What's the purpose of the x key at that  door if the examination
is also  spoken in lattin.

Hi,
Resident evil is also a First person shooter. Basically, you are a 
reporter moving around a shopping mall killing zombies and other weirdos.
If I did a Tomb Raider game it would be because I could remember it 
somewhat visually, and I really enjoyed the first three or four games 
when I had enough sight to play them.

Hi Nicol,
That sign is one problem with the electronic text of the Harry Potter books.
They do not describe the illustrations in the book even if the illustrations 
have text.
The sign says,
Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus.
This is the Latin Hogwarts motto that is carved above the gate to the school 
in the illustration.
It is not a door but a warning of what is to come.
When you hit x the voice says,
A sleeping dragon is never to be tickled.
Unfortunately I used the same Italian synthesized voice for both so the 
voice's accent is very strong and may not be understood by everyone.

Hint to where the door is,
What spell have you not used yet?

Thanks phil.
Now I understand. I will try out the spell I haven't used and I will get
back to you if I still struggle.
Btw there is a bug concerning the old parchment. All the passwords doesn't
show up, sometimes the decendium password is missing and I have to activate
the old parchment again for it to show up.

[Audyssey] still not managing with the italian voice

Please help phil. I stood near the Italian voice and I have tried out each
and every single spell in the menu.
Conjuring a jet of water
Seal a door
Flame freezing
Feeling of contentment
Shield charm
Those are the ones I haven't used, and I tried each one, nothing happens.

[Audyssey] something tickles me about treasure mania

When treasure mania was released for the first time, some of the listers
said that the arrows the majubian tribe shoot at the game character sounds
like a bird. Huh? Not to me! On my computer the arrows sounds like
helicopters. How is it possible that they sound like birds on another
person's computer?
Rob, tell me: do I understand the manual correctly when it says the terbos
can only be used for obstacles.

[Audyssey] a suggestion about fluffy in scw

HI phil
I think you should consider a more original sound for fluffy when he bites
sarah. When sarah gets near to fluffy before  playing the floot I hear a
sound as though she have been squashed by a  heavy rock. That is not a sound
that fits fluffy, fluffy is a dog although a monsterous dog, rather make a
sound of fluffy  bite barking and sarah saying ouch.

GAWAIN as in the knight of the round table.  Like you I have had no luck in

Nice work on the duck hunt rewrite.  So far, I like the 2 duck mode best, 
but I've just monkeyed with them for a few rounds each to see what they are 
like.  Also, I like the way the site is set up for screen reader users.

Sounds good, feel free to added in there you wish! As for the exit 
bug, the hotkey to exit the game X works, however the Exit option isn't 
there.
After the Disciritions Of Sounds option was added, it replaced it. I 
wonder if there's room to added it at the bottom.

 In one way I do agree networked games brings allot more challenge to 
 the
 games as you are facing a human aponent. However, the down side to this
 is that if you log on to play against someone and there is no one 
 around
 at 1:00 AM in the morning when you want to play you can't do much with
 that game.
 I'm on the run allot, and if I had to be online to play a game I would
 hardly get a chanse to play. Especially, when in the car riding from
 here to there. That's the down side to networked games unfortunately.
 Probably someday I will crank out a networked game, but it will have to
 wait for my current batch of projects to clear. (Smile)

 enjoying myself listening to the Tomb Raider music which I remember from

 Star Wars game engine which is well suited for the full blown 3D FPS

 Personally, my favorites were Tomb Raider II and Tomb Raider IV. Angel
 of Darkness was cool, but the story took a huge turn which made it much
 darker than the previous five games.
 I also know Angel of Darkness didn't have the same level of puzzle
 solving which made the first four games fun.
 As for myself the puzzles were just as much fun as Lora's battles with
 Sharks, Yetti, Crocks, and other cool creatures.
 I suppose I can dig around for my copies of the games and wrip the
 sounds myself, but what a serious pain.

BTW, that is impossible. Either you misheard or reported the score, or there 
is a bug. The highest you could have had was between 240-249.

[Audyssey] duck hunt score

Hi,

It's 1:00 in the morning and I'm bored so I decided to play duck hunt. I 
chose to shoot the clay pigions and I got up to round 26 with a score of 
234. Can anyone beat my high score?
