Hi Cara,
Thank you for saying how much you like my Monopoly game. I appreciate hearing
it very much.
Yeah before PCS games and I started making dos games with sounds the only
accessible games were the text adventure games and to some degree the on line
BBS door games. It took me awhile to
Hi Thomas,
That's cool that you wrote and played your own text card and board games. As
you said for programming practice and so that you could play the games. That
really was why I wrote them as well. I mean because I wanted to play them and
at that time there were not any games like that
Hi.

Hi Thomas,
You probably don't need to remove Python 2.5. You can probably install
additionally Python 2.4 and call it from the command line. It may be
called python24, while the default interpreter is called python and is
a link to python25. Then type, for example: python24 soundrts.pyc

This reminds me of an RTS game demo I have played recently. It's
probably totally inaccessible because it is heavily mouse based, but
its principles may be interesting. It's called Galcon. It's a very
simplified RTS, with no tech tree, no buildings, no workers, and yet a
very interesting game.

Long ago I found such a fairy game on audiogames.net.
The one is hansel and grettel and I think the other one is goldilocks and
the 3 bairs.
I could only manage to run hansel and grettel.
A mail person would tell the story and then grettel asks things such as
sums, etc.
I think it's a flash game
I find it better to put jaws in sleep mode while playing self voicing games
by changing the setting in the configuration manager.
Then I don't have to reload jaws each time I'm finished with a game.
Does this work for everybody or is there folks who prefer unloading jaws.

I thought about samuel's pot cast, its well done but there is one more
reason why you shouldn't crack which samule haven't touched. Developers
spent hours on creating a program and people who crack it wants it for
free.
Developers, especially game developers, needs to be rewarded for their hard
I like the bop it game.
I've managed to download it. when I tried downloading it for the third time
it worked.
I don't know what went wrong the first 2 attempts.
I just battle a lot with fire fox if I wish to pause a download and
continue it later on.
If I click pause then the pause button
Hello Nicol,
I also put JAWS into sleep mode when playing self voicing games. I think it
is much easier that way because you dont have to unload and reload JAWS
everytime you play the game.

Hi Lisa,
I don't know if you play mainstreme games, but there's quite a few based on
stories like that. One I actually bought my girlfriend, and it's actually
accessible is Shrek Superslam. It has a bunch of fairy tale characters in it.
It's pretty cool.

Hi,
Be careful with that game, it can sometimes change your sound settings
without you knowing. If anything is a miss with your audio after playing,
like sounds playing quieter etc, then let me know and I will give you
detailed info on how to fix it. Not saying this will happen, just that
Firefox isn't a real download manager. It doesn't save your settings when
you shut down the pc. I recommend free download manager. Email me off list.
In regards to bopit, I heard it can change your sound scheme in windows a
bit (ow). That hasn't happened to me yet, though.

I always, without question, unload JAWS, because it sometimes works by
putting JAWS to sleep, but not always. Unloading it always works, so I make
sure to get consistent results by unloading it.

Ah, I do see why you were using Python 2.4. Debian is notorious for
