[Audyssey] Accessible infocom documentation

2009-11-13 Thread Zachary Kline
Hi All,
I recently managed to get my hands on a collection containing the entire
catalog of interactive fiction produced by the company Infocom,
responsible for the Zork series among others. I was wondering if
anybody might have any idea where I could find accessible versions of
their documentation? In particular, many of the games use documentation
as a form of copy protection, only providing certain crucial information
in the packaging. This is, unfortunately, an electronic distribution
without all that.
I know about http://infodoc.plover.net, but that hasn't been updated in
some time and only contains a few accessible versions amongst the
unreadable PDFs. I would very much like to see the rest of the catalog
given similar accessible treatments.
I'd appreciate any advice anybody might be able to give me on this
question.
Best and thanks,
Zack.

   Hi Peter,
Yes, once the current round of tournaments is over, I'm going
 to allow
folks to reset their trial accounts so they can try out the new
blackjack game for themselves and see what they think.
Regarding the system access issue, I was not aware it wasn't
 working with

 that fixed
  and into the next release.

   Hi all,
Che Martin from Blind Adrenaline here.
As Ryan said, we've had a fully working version of blackjack
 out for a
  little while now.
And to Michael's point about wanting something unique, we've
 done just
that with burnout blackjack at Blind Adrenaline.
This is a way to play against other human players in a tournament
situation, instead of just old boring play against the dealer
 all the
  time,
which can be done with any simple hand held blackjack game, and
 gets old
  quick.
I encourage you to check out both sites games and decide for
yourself which you find more appealing. I could sit here and
 tell you about all
  the
features of our games, but nothing replaces trying it out for
 yourself. Pop on over to
  http://www.blindAdrenaline.com/cardRoom
and get a free two week membership to give it a shot.

first download a certain program first to create a menu for all the other

Re: [Audyssey] update

Hmm. Missing the visual c++ runtime maybe?
When I first got windows7 I was having problems getting things to work and I
just went nuts and started installing programs left and right (windows live,
GMAGames, etc) until eventually everything started working. Somewhere along the
line I installed some needed dependency.

hello shirly.

Jim kitchin has a very nice self-voicing sapi game you can find on

makes a good game to play with friends.

My only miner complaint is that you can only have one computer opponent to
