[Audyssey] Accessible infocom documentation
Hi All, I recently managed to get my hands on a collection containing the entire catalog of interactive fiction produced by the company Infocom, responsible for the Zork series among others. I was wondering if anybody might have any idea where I could find accessible versions of their documentation? In particular, many of the games use documentation as a form of copy protection, only providing certain crucial information in the packaging. This is, unfortunately, an electronic distribution without all that. I know about http://infodoc.plover.net, but that hasn't been updated in some time and only contains a few accessible versions amongst the unreadable PDFs. I would very much like to see the rest of the catalog given similar accessible treatments. I'd appreciate any advice anybody might be able to give me on this question. And to Michael's point about wanting something unique, we've done just that with burnout blackjack at Blind Adrenaline. Hi Shirley, Jim Kitchen has some great games for the PC using sappi voices. Just make sure to read the instructions first on the sappi games page since you must first download a certain program first to create a menu for all the other games listed. He has monopoly, life, and some other good ones. Hmm. Missing the visual c++ runtime maybe? When I first got windows7 I was having problems getting things to work and I just went nuts and started installing programs left and right (windows live, GMAGames, etc) until eventually everything started working. Somewhere along the line I installed some needed dependency. hello shirly. Jim kitchin has a very nice self-voicing sapi game you can find on http://www.kitchensinc.net/ It's got some great customization options, and makes a good game to play with friends. My only miner complaint is that you can only have one computer opponent to play against. Stil, it's woth a play if you like monopoly.
