Hi Michael. As regards treasurehunt, well the only real answer is you get the key wehn Munawar generates one and sends it to you. I doubt this will be long, but bare in mind Munawar is a busy fellow. As for desent into madness, sadly the game was never quite finished, which is one reason you can't exit properly. This is rather sad indeed. What is also sad is that the game was meant to be the first example and implimentation of an overall creation environment for making similar audio adventure games, but again, this hasn't happened which is a shame sinse I did rather enjoy descent, though the necessity to go through the entire game in one go, and the fact that dying means going back to the beginning is a right pain! Sadly not. There are really only two ways of killing King lasarus. Firstly, the griffins don't actually hold anything at all, thus just run along centrally in the castle until you meet the prince, knight and king. Secondly, there is a rather cheap way of getting infinite amounts of gold from lepricorns, which you can then use to buy loads of potions. Pressing A will attack one which willo either half your health or give you lots of gold. If you get the gold, you can leave and return and repeat the process to get loads more gold, which you can then use to buy a stack of potions at the shop which you may use on the King. Really this is another design flaw with last crusade, --- -which is a shame sinse I rather liked the creature sounds and idea, though the combat was wy too symple. Beware the Grue! Michael, games are written in a very different way to stoaries, so not finished means there are stil some bugs and functions which don't work, not that the game cannot be finished, though I do confess I've never actually finished descent into madness, dying at one point which I believe was the last obstacle in the game was bad enough, maybe I should give it another try. Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my computer to windows 7. I'm just wondering, will I be able to play all the accessible games I have right now? you probably can. some older ones you will have to make uac go away. though in theory if you install everything to your home folder then that will work. not sure about your screenreaders but I will have to upgrade those. Hi Ryan, As a long time Windows 7 user I can safely say most of the accessible games out there will run with only miner to no problems on Windows 7. The one thing to keep in mind here is to deactivate user account control for some older games like the Kitchens Inc games that try to access secured directories such as c:\Program Files\Kitchensinc instead of putting their save game files in the user's application data directory. Plus you will need to install the VB 6 runtime libraries for many older games as those no longer ship with Windows 7 by default. Oh, the other thing you will need to be aware of is games that use heavy 3d hardware mixing such as Shades of Doom and Tank Commander will sound a bit off because the Windows Vista and Windows 7 kernel uses a totally different sound mixer than XP and the two are not completely compatible. As a result some games won't sound as precise under Windows 7 using DirectSound 8. I'm given to understand David Greenwood for one is aware of the issue and is working on resolving this issue eventually for his titles. Philip is also looking ino supporting XAudio2 for Windows 7 which will resolve the issue for BGT and his Streemway products. Don't know about anyone else though. Anyway, other than that I've got a lot of accessible games running here and don't have many serious problems with them. Things could be a bit better if some of these games were better maintained and updated, but they work for the most part.
