Hi Darren,
I just wanted to write and say this was an excellent podcast. I really

Hi Michael,
The Genesis engine already has that functionality. You can create
custom settings for Sapi such as rate, volume, and voice. So that's
not really a big issue here. However, I can say I see both sides of
this debate from an end users point of view and as a programmer as
well.

These ones are good. Top Korean players going at it, and shows a lot of what
the combos sound like. And there's a lot of flashy stuff that happens too.
Enjoy!

Hi.
I thought yours was too quiet too. I assumed, since you said earlier
that yours is not quiet, that it was the way you were recording, just
that your microphone was hotter than the game, but the way you recorded
it is more or less how my game sounds normally. I never heard any of the
Kai is in charge of all of the game's sounds, but yes the grass is actually
meant to be one of the quietest surfaces to walk on. It is also hard for the
zombies to hear you when on grass.

I find the speech in the beginning of single player mode extremely quiet
comparing to the rest of the sounds- I actually had to crank up the volume
to make out what he's saying even with headphones on.

One potential reason for the quiet speech could be that it's panned to the
left, rather than being centered, since your friend is ostensibly leaning
against the western wall of the shack to tend to his leg. Try turning to
face that direction to see if this helps?

I love single player, except when I kill 12 undead, go back to the

Ok, don't really want this to be an ad for nch software, but if
your looking for a converter (with normalization as an option)
you could go with switch. This is also comercial, though the free
version contains most of the features of the full one.

possible to create a self-extracting 7z file of the game, that

If you'd like, I can boost the sounds via sound forge manually.
Just send them to me off-list, and I can bring them up as much as
you want. If possible, a range (decibels) would be nice.
