You can level classes in any order you want, providing you can get the exp, and at higher levels the fame. Also, duplicate eq (equipment) is very valuable if it's a good piece on neck, fingers or wrists. In addition, you never know when having said extra piece may come in handy. Not many people

If the corpse rots away, the items will be gone as well. However, if you had two corpses, try get all 2.corpse, 3.corpse, etc to do the second corpse, third corpse, etc. so either the corpse rotted because you didn't get it in time (highly unlikely I believe as you had just been fighting one zom
