Re: [Audyssey] does any one play jim kitchens football game.
Hello. Jim was one of my best friends that I spoke to on a daily bases. One of the things that he mention is that he never want his games to cost, because developing accessible games for the blind was his passion. Yes it would be neat to add a few features to his games. However I think his games need to stay the way that he left them. It would be a slap to Jim if anyone change them any form or fashion. One of the things that he told me is that if he passes on, he wants his games to stay the same and to be able to be play for years to come. I thought highly of Jim Kitchen. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] does any one play jim kitchens football game.
Hi, guys. I am also one of those who like JIm's games. Some time before he passed away i suggested him a few ideas about his baseball game and a football game. Actually if there was some one ore a few people who could take it over and make his games better and more interesting i'd be ready to pay for it. For example i would like to see the baseball game with a full season schedule. with team rosters and different proposals such as players moving from team to team. With all the player stats through out the season. I know that there is one baseball game called bari bari baseball that has a season mode, but i think it is very poor in action and a game pley along with sounds. Of caurse I would add something in pitching the ball in Jim's game so that it would somehow depend on human player. Maybe would be cool to add a few mor plays containing double plays and at least one with a tripple play though it is a rare play in a game of baseball. Of caurse more funny commercials in between the enings would also make it more fun to play and go through. I myself am not a programmer, but if i was i would have tried to do some thing with all that. I also had ideas on the footbal game. It is pretty bad that it is not depended on human player as much as it could have been. It is not that funny to just pick a pley and listen to what is happening. Wouldbe nice to put it the way so that human player could also participate in game play action. But even if not it would be very nice to add more plays, to have penalties and injuries. To add more croud sounds, boos, and all that. Againg if there is someone or a group of people that would do it i am first in line to donate some cash in to it. I am sure not MR. job's child and don't own a trans national corporation, but could probably do something about putting a couple of dollars in to it. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Hi Dorothy. Thanks for the congratulations. Actually, internet isn't a problem. If things work the same way they did when I was over there for Christmas, I could use my soon to be wife's sister's wifi network with no problem, I could go online, play muds, even receive emails. The only weerd thing is that sending mail just plane didn't. I don't know why, since the server for one of my mail addresses (this one), is located in texus as it's administered by a friend. I have no idea why at all, it's nuts. Maybe there is something I can set in outlook express to fix thingss, I'll have to look into that when I'm done, but just in case it doesn't get sorted, I thought I'd appologise for potentially being off the grid for such a long while. Re: [Audyssey] Away and weddings
Well maybe you are playing an alpha version with lots of bugs. or something. I have had similar issue this week. We are now on vdsl and this required a new data connection and a new isp programmed router. All worked as expected but we had a busted datacable so nothing worked. Next the wireless extender we had a linksys worked only on dsl so made things go bad as. A netgear universal was brought but had to be ordered. Wps wouldn't sync with it so I had to do it manually. Then there was a firmware update and password and security change for that. Followed by a complex registration to get online access on netgear with sight and then a reconfig of the silly password they sent meand a few other things. And all before I go out. I have 1 maybe 2 jobs in the works, one of which I hope to come back to when I return from vacation. To top it off we had a family party last night and today is the day I need to start to think about packing my bags as well as other things. [Audyssey] att: Dark
Hello Dark : Good luck on your wedding. I just wanted to let you know that ATT has a internet thing like a flash drive that you pay about 30 dollars a month for your internet. Probably Verizon has it , too. You most likely be able to get your internet just fine over here in America. Re: [Audyssey] Star conquest very irritating
I'll add slightly to that. You have keys based on wasd for directions, so x for south etc, and r for up and f for down. It takes a good bit of practice, but hey, that's easily fixed with a bit of RP and people taking new players on missions and things, which does happen. Cheers Dave On 28/05/2016 15:27, Mike Wassel wrote: Ok. Here we go, I'll try to explain this. It told you in the tutorial, but hopefully I can explain this. When you want to fight something, move to the enemy. So, M and then pick the number. When you get within one unit of them, type track. Pick the number, and you'll start tracking. Depending on what target tracking array you have installed on your ship, you might lose your track. If you look at your status, you'll see that the stock target array will only keep track of your targets 75 percent of the time. THis can be upgraded with better arrays. Once you've got the enemy tracked, type aim or, if using coords, aim aim. Once you've got your lock, you just fire. I think it takes some time to get used to it, as it's not the same as promotheus and miriani. As to needing a pack, you can try to do it without one, but I think it's needed for this game. It's up to you. Just use lockmode to change your preferred aiming method. Mike. On 5/28/2016 4:58 AM, dark wrote: Hi. No I don't have a soundpack. Re: [Audyssey] File for kitchen games.
Hi lisa. All of Jim Kitchin's games can be found at http://www.kitchensinc.net/# Install the winkit file first, then install any other game files you want. I recently installed his Simon game on my lady's laptop running windows 7 and it worked fine. hth. Re: [Audyssey] Away and weddings
What is mildly disturbing is that since for Leslie to get into the Uk she needs a spousal visa, we need evidence the wedding has taken place, so basicaly we are having to arrange lots of cards and photos even though neither of us paricularly gets much from photos, it's sort of like collecting random items in a game just to level up, accept more annoying! :D. If I'm wrong and the mails work, fare enough, though if not, bare in mind I'll still be reading list traffic, I just won't be responding (I'll still be on audiogames.net though, so you can always reach me on the forums there or by pm). I'll be around until monday, but as I'm busy with leave preparations, I thought I'd tell everyone now. If I don't speak again, hope everyone has a nice summer.
