In brief sonnar continues to test for new games coming soon though

Audiogame hub is being discontinued or at least the current version is.
To continue the opperation of the company and all that junk we are

No price list is available just yet but you can buy 1 month or higher

This can be for one game outright or several in a pack or the entire

Schedualed release will be for pc and android only.
Once these go out it will go to apple but that takes 2 days for that

Anyway everything is on the blog this is just a friendly reminder is all.

Re: [Audyssey] any other microsoft flight simulator players on here?

2017-01-18 Thread Mike Wassel
I'm not sure how fs2004 works, but if it's the dialogue I'm thinking of
you're stuck at, use object navigation to get out of it and find the
blank tabs, Then go to the left and you'll see minimize, and if you keep
going, more buttons. Stay in object nav, and find free flight and press
nvda+enter to press it. If you wanted a crash course on how nvda's
object navigation and screen review works, thhis'll give it to you, as
most of the time you'll be in object review to click on the different
things in the sim. Once you do it a few times it really just becomes
second nature, but it can be tricky to figure out the first time. If
you still have trouble, let me know. You'll know you're in the right
place to start going to the left after you go up, and it says home
dialogue. Go up one more time and you'll see the tabs. Then just go
left. If you don't know the commands, the commands I'm referring to are
nvda+shift+up arrow, and left nvda+shift=left arrow. If you have
trouble, let me know and I can try to explain it better. This is just
going off of memory. Also, Steam doesn't do CD's, they are a complete
digital platform.

Hi dark,

Do you have one of the sound packs? That helps because you don't have all
the extra talking of unimportant text? Secondly, don't use coordinate based
combat. Use vector combat. What that is hit the number 7 to aim northwest
or 9 for northeast etc. as a new pilot do space combat with a group. As a
new pilot none of your ships are strong enough to do a single beacon. As
someone new learn to fly in manual mode stick to rats ground combat salvage
etc.

I plan on art art to play again and would be willing to help out.

z axis" or something like that and I couldn't actually aim at all. I
got lucky with the rat in the tutorial sinse it was west of me and I
could just type aim 4 which worked.
Also, why the hell is tracking so spammy, I dn't need to be told "a
computer voice says" bl bla can't it just give the coordinates? really
this is a major fault in the game and considering I had one ship
destroyed and one nearly crippled it was pretty serious, and I've got
my voice rate set pretty high.

I prefer vip, so a vip pack would be nice anyway, as Vip works much
better with sapi than mush does (reviewing and such is easier), but I
will confess I'm a little irritated that a pac is necessary, sinse I
thought the game was intended to be accessible off the bat anyway,
really the staff should do a better job with combat display here and
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this before.

If you could send me the pack I might try again, although I confess
I'm a bit irritated with the game thus far as it seems amazingly harsh
when you screw up.
I logged out and got one ship blown up, bye bye starter lone, I messed
up a ground combat (which I admit was my fault), then I got one ship
severely crippled and one ship blown to bits in twoimpossible combats
leaving me with no money, no ship, no suit and no way to progress,
and all the suggestion I got was "go beg my alliance" who didn't
particularly help either (not that I'd go begging money off people).

I couldn't even take out a lone.

If you send me the pack I might give the game another try.

All the best,

Dark.

Hey dark,

I'm glad you asked here, and now that I know it was you, I can help.
Do you have a pack for SC? Their is one for VIP, and once we're done
updating the one for VIP, I'm going to port it to mushclient. The
reason I couldn't say this to you on newbie, is because the staff
don't like players talking about packs on the game. Once our pack is
approved by the staff, we can though. If you need the pack for vip,
I can drop you a link. Now for your questions.

I'm guessing that you didn't have the pack, so combat was a ton
harder for you. With the pack, you'll see the following:

tracking

In SC, their are two ways to lock on to an enemy. Coords and
vectors. My guess is that you had coords selected as your preferred
aiming method. I use vector aiming. W is north, A is west, D is
east, and so on.

For aiming up and down, I do aim -s, or +s. Remember that sine S is
at the center of WASD, it tells the game to aim either directly up,
or down. You can change this with aim +w, aim -x, and so on.

Let me know if this helps, and if you need the pack. Hope you decide
to give the game another try with this information.

2016-05-28 Thread Mike Wassel
Ok. Here we go, I'll try to explain this. It told you in the tutorial,
but hopefully I can explain this.

When you want to fight something, move to the enemy. So, M and then pick
the number.

When you get within one unit of them, type track. Pick the number, and
you'll start tracking. Depending on what target tracking array you have
installed on your ship, you might lose your track. If you look at your
status, you'll see that the stock target array will only keep track of
your targets 75 percent of the time. THis can be upgraded with better
arrays.

Once you've got the enemy tracked, type aim or, if using
coords, aim aim. Once you've got your lock, you just fire.

I think it takes some time to get used to it, as it's not the same as
promotheus and miriani. As to needing a pack, you can try to do it
without one, but I think it's needed for this game. It's up to you.
Just use lockmode to change your preferred aiming method.

Hi dark,

Do you have one of the sound packs? That helps because you don't have
all
the extra talking of unimportant text? Secondly, don't use coordinate
based
combat. Use vector combat. What that is hit the number 7 to aim
northwest
or 9 for northeast etc. as a new pilot do space combat with a group.
As a

new pilot none of your ships are strong enough to do a single beacon. As
someone new learn to fly in manual mode stick to rats ground combat
salvage

etc.

I plan on art art to play again and would be willing to help out.

[Audyssey] Second life and the Firestorm client.

2015-11-27 Thread Mike Wassel

Hey all,
For those that were around when Radegast was made accessible, the client
now seems to be dead. I got a chance to talk with two people who work
for the Firestorm client for SL, who'd both like to see accessibility
come to it moreso than what it has already. If you've got a second,
could you vote on the issue here?

http://jira.phoenixviewer.com/browse/FIRE-17390
If you don't know what I'm talking about, the thread is here.
http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?id=12669
Thanks,
Mike.

Yes sports games are possible. But answer me this: How do you play racing
games? How do you know where to turn or if you're going the wrong way?
Rockband I understand, it's a great game and I like playing it. I guess my
point is that we can't play more of the current things if that makes sense.
Like COD or Resident Evil. That's why I like playing games like Final
Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts and Mass Effect (to a degree). I guess you could
play third person shooters if you do what I do and use a lock-on system or
use sound cues which is how I play them, ut FPS's are, I think, out

many audio games mainly because I don't care for the content when I
have other games on my ps2/ps3 that I play more, I see it all the
time with this community that people aren't happy, that they bitch

thing happens on a much larger scale with the sighted players. However, if we
keep this up pretty soon you're going to have no one left who wants to make
games for the blind and then you all will start complaining about how you all
have nothing that matches up with what todays consoles have. And whose fault
will that be but your own? Not everyone can play todays games on the ps3 or
Xbox360. I know I'm having trouble with the little amount of vision that I
have. It's almost impossible for me to play anything new that comes out
because the print is to small for me to read or I can't see what is on the
screen. I know it's way harder if not completely impossible for totals to play
anything but fighting games which I can not stand whatsoever. They just bore
me
after about 15 minutes. As I said, keep it up and see what happens.

James North produced many very good games and then quit. Why did this

 vacated the premises. Guess why?

I commend those developers who have stuck it out and continue working for

Yes, I'm angry, and I think I have a darned good reason to be. Although I

I have two questions for this game.
1. How do I repair the saddle? Sorta lost on what I have to do, and if the

There is a Python script going around that allows you to use NVDA as your
screen reader. It is mentioned from time to time on the VIPMud list. Are you
 a member of this list?

To answer your question, yes, more work has been done and will be done in the
not too distant future, and this would include NVDA support.

Are their any plans to update VIPMud at all? I'd love to see NVDA support
put in seeing as how large of a screenreader it's become. Other than that,
I think that's all it really needs. I have a python script that I found
that will have it read, if you'd like it.
