Hi Johnny, I love going to the local medieval faire because they let me pick up and look at all of the medieval weapons. You know all of the swords, battle axes, flails, maces etc. I even bought a flail this summer. The wooden handle is about a foot and a half long and on one end are two

Agreed Jim- when I first learned how to use a broadsword I was amazed by how heavy it was. Funny you mention the flail- I actually made one at home just to mess around with. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to

Just deleted the message by accident. But if an axe fits the game... then why not a bow? I fully respect the shooter genre, but in these games, the more weapons the better... and a lot of shooters mix weapons from different areas. Assassin's Creed, one of the most popular action adventure

I will make a specific argument for a bow of some sort, a quiet weapon with a longer range than a pistol. I agree that we shouldn't go adding weapons just because; a weapon should add something to the game. I argue that a bow would add another set of choices for sniping. As for the alternate

A good point about knife verses zombie actually- while I'm a hardcore knife person, even I have to admit, if there is a zombie breakout, I'd really think twice before trying to knife one- since you'd have to get up super close, and then have to stab it in the head/face to even get a kill lol.
